The Bulls traded their captain, Kevin Mansolill, to Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks for a third-round pick and cash Tuesday.

Mansolill had 3 goals and 1 assists in 8 games for North Iowa and led the team with 59 penalty minutes.

"Any time you make a move with your high-profile guys it's not easy to do," Sanden said. "For me, it's a move for down the road.

"It's going to be a surprise for our team. This is going to be the first shocker for them."

Mansolill looks forward to donning a Lumberjacks jersey and playing for Coach Bob Jacobson. He nabbed a goal in his first game with them on Sunday and wants to build upon that. JACKSONVILLE ICE DOGS HAD AN IMPRESSIVE SHOWING AT THE 2010 USA HOCKEY JR. NATIONALS, WINNING 2 OUT OF 3 GAMES!

Kevin Mansolill concluded this season with the JID as 8th leading goal scorer in Jr. B Nationals. In the last game against Maksymum from the Empire League, Kevin scored a natural hat trick which included the GWG and a SHG for a 7-4 win!

YALE UNIVERSITY VISIT

I was fortunate to be invited on a campus tour of Yale University by Kyle Wallack,  Bulldogs Assistant Men's Ice Hockey Coach. We talked and walked the entire campus for nearly 3 hours of the 309 year old University. It was absolutely beautiful and filled with interesting historical information. The Ingalls ice rink, with it's massive wooden ceiling is one of the most beautiful rinks I've ever been to and it would be a dream to ever be able to play for this prestigious school. I thank Kyle for being such a gracious host and a great visit. It was an honor!

KEVIN MANSOLILL NAMED MJHL PLAYER-OF-THE-WEEK
making two straight weekly awards for Ice Dog forwards.



Kevin had a big game Sunday morning scoring 2 goals, including the game winner to help the Ice Dogs defeat their rivals the Space Coast Hurricanes, 3-2.  Kevin also added an assist on the opening goal of the game.  After another big weekend against Hampton Roads, he now has 8 goals and 14 assists for 22 points on the season.  Refer to the MJHL Home page for original article.
